Acharya meets Nagas in Delhi

EMN DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 6 Governor of Nagaland, PB Acharya on Monday met the leaders of Naga student organizations, scholars, government officials and “some elders” at Nagaland House 29, Aurangzeb Road New Delhi, at 4.30 pm. According to a press statement from the PRO of Nagaland House, New Delhi, Acharya informed the gathering that the Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal had initiated to set up a “North East Cell” in the capital to help the people from the northeast during their stay in Delhi. “He also exhorted the gathered student leaders and Naga scholars to work for unity among the tribes and also excel in their studies,” the statement read. In the early afternoon, Arvind Kejriwal the Chief Minister of Delhi had called on PB Acharya, Governor of Nagaland and Assam, at Nagaland House 29, Aurangzeb Road New Delhi as a courtesy call and shared about the “Northeast Cell”, it informed.
