
DIMAPUR — The Academic Administrative Audit (AAA) team visited the North East Institute of Social Sciences and Research (NEISSR) on August 16 with the purpose to examine and assess the institution's administrative procedures and quality assurance.
The team consisted of Dr. Watijungshi, retired additional director of Higher Education, as convener, Dr. RK Behera, principal of Livingstone Foundation International College, and Dr. Vitsosie Vupru, principal of Kohima College, as members.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]An update from the institute stated that a short session was held wherein its vice principal, Fr. Khing, appreciated the AAA team for visiting NEISSR and highlighted the institute's commitment to providing quality education and meeting the needs of its students. He introduced the AAA team and presented them with tokens of appreciation.
Later, the assistant professor, Elizabeth Pojar, made a presentation on the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of NEISSR. Following the presentation, the AAA team interacted with the faculty, students' council, class representatives and non-teaching staff of NEISSR.
It stated representatives from various clubs and forums of the institute including the music club, literary club, green club, media club, cultural club, red ribbon club, electoral club, community development forum, youth forum, peace forum, social entrepreneurship forum, national service scheme, research publication, fieldwork study as well as faculty and student publications presented on the various activities carried out by them.
In conclusion, the NEISSR principal, Rev. Dr. Fr. CP Anto, thanked the AAA team, management, governing board, IQAC, faculty, students' council, and non-teaching staff for their contributions.
