Dimapur, Dec. 13 (EMN): The Nagaland unit of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has floated a call to candidates to contest the forthcoming Nagaland legislative Assembly polls. The party issued a press release on Wednesday informing that discussions are on about the party’s “feasibility to contest all 60 seats in Nagaland.”
Led by its state APP convener Dr. S Amos Lkr, the leaders of the party had a meeting with the organisation’s national ‘PAC’ members Ashutosh and Sanjay Singh “regarding the 2018 assembly elections in the state of Nagaland,” according to the press release from the party’s media and publicity cell.
“The meeting was fruitful and the PAC members have agreed to come to Nagaland in few weeks time and declare AAP’s participation in Nagaland. The team also deliberated on feasibility to contest all 60 seats in Nagaland with the central leaders assisted by NE observer Shri. Habung Payeng. The meeting was by far positive with both side coming to a logical conclusion,’ the press release informed.
