Kailash Kher- popular Indian Singer of the famed ‘Saiyyan’ ‘Teri Deewani’ and ‘Tu Jaane Na’ (to name a few) is in Dimapur town with his band Kailasa to engross Dimapurians with their popular Indian folk music and Sufi music which has won many hearts making them one of the distinct musicians loved by Indians.
The group landed Dimapur Airport at 2 pm on Friday December 2- flight delayed by an hour and half; however Kailash talking to Eastern Mirror expressed ‘the delay is worthwhile’ and shared his excitement to perform for the first time in Dimapur particularly to be performing for the prestigious Hornbill Festival.
Kailash also acknowledged he never expected Northeast people to be familiar with his songs or his band Kailasa’s songs to be popular in the region but was proved wrong when he successfully performed at Shillong in 2015.
Excited and fascinated by the vibrant reception at the airport, Kailash remarked Nagaland to be a land of ‘hospitality, art and culture, music lover and warriors’
All set to perform tonight (December 3, 2016) at DDSC Stadium Dimapur at 6.30 pm, the Saiyyan singer conveyed ‘he is already smiling and basking in the glory’ with ‘great musical experience’ expectations with Dimapurians.
