9th Imchaba Memorial Volleyball tourney concludes

DIPR Dimapur, September 20 The four-day 9th Imchaba Master Memorial Nagaland Open Volleyball Trophy, 2014., held at Multi Sports complex, Mokokchung  concluded on 19th Sept. the closing function programme was graced by Secretary, Home and Irrigation & Flood Control, Nagaland Bengdangkokba, IAS as the Chief Guest.Altogether 20 teams competed for the coveted trophy . Sporting Club Mangkolemba, the defending champion won the trophy for the second time and was awarded a cash of Rs. 60,000/- while Longsa Sports Association won the Runner-up title with a cash amount of Rs.40,000/-. The third and fourth title was won by NIELET Chuchuyimlang and Friends United Chakpa and was awarded a cash amount of Rs.25, 000/- and Rs.15, 000/- respectively. Individual prizes of certificate and cash were also awarded to Imkongsanen from MGHSS, Mkg (Promising player of the Tournament), Yangerlemba from Sporting Club Mangkolemba (Best Setter), Imkongmeren from Longsa Sports Association (Best Spiker) and Tiakumzuk from Sporting Club Mangkolemba (Player of the Tournament).
