Dimapur, Feb. 14 (EMN): Nagaland has 9,897 children registered under the Reproductive and Child Health (RCH) programme from February 2 -13, out of a total estimation of 16,402 children.
According to the Chief Minister’s dashboard, 10,229 pregnant women are also registered in the RCH programme out of a total estimation of 17,834 pregnant women in the state.
The data showed that Dimapur district had the highest number of pregnant women (2,135) as well as children registered (2,216), while Phek district had the lowest number of children registered (337) and Longleng has the lowest number of pregnant women registered (356).
District-wise distribution of registered children from February 2-13 revealed that in Dimapur district, 2,216 children had been registered out of a total estimation of 3,840 children, Kohima had registered 1,031 out of an estimation of 1,976, Mokokchung had 829 out of 1,466, Mon had 1,871 out of 2,167, Phek had 337 out of 1,184, Tuensang had 1,056 out of 1,869, Wokha had 329 out of 983, Zunheboto had 914 out of 933, Peren had 564 out of 832, Kiphire had 409 out of 734 and Longleng had 341 children registered in the RCH programme out of an estimation of 418 children.
According to the data, Dimapur district had also registered 2,135 pregnant women, Kohima had registered 2,009 pregnant women, Mokokchung had 844, Mon had 1,394, Phek had 1,184, Tuensang had 688, Wokha had 410, Zunheboto had 933, Peren had415, Kiphire had 674 and Longleng district had 356 pregnant women registered.
