DIMAPUR — A specialist health camp on hypertension screening for adults aged 30 years and above was conducted at Yangzitong village in the Kiphire district on Saturday.
The camp was held under the SBI Sanjeevani - Clinic on Wheels project, supported by the Nature SBI Foundation Nagaland in collaboration with the Yopikyu Thongstar Memorial Trust.
According to an update, Project Lead Longtili C Sangtam informed that a total of 97 beneficiaries availed themselves of the health services during the camp. Altogether, 82 laboratory tests and 42 hypertension screenings were carried out.
Longtili expressed gratitude to the doctors and staff of Seyochung Primary Health Centre for their service and commitment towards the welfare of the community. He stated that their efforts were a true example of care and compassion for the people.
He also thanked the Yopikyu Thongstar Memorial Trust for their support, mobilisation, and arrangements, which contributed to the success of the programme.
Further, Longtili shared the overall performance update of the project since its inception. Under the SBI Sanjeevani - Clinic on Wheels initiative, the team has completed 488 mobile outpatient department services, reached out to 7,583 beneficiaries, and conducted 1,774 different laboratory tests to date.
