the signing of MoU in Dimapur on Thursday.
- DIMAPUR — With an aim to establish a
collaborative partnership by focusing on environmental awareness and community
engagement, the 90.8 Hills FM officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding
(MoU) with the Dimapur Forest Division on Thursday.
- The MoU was signed by Beizo Suokhrie, divisional forest officer
of Dimapur forest division, and witnessed by Bokato Sema, forest range officer
of
- Rangapahar range, stated an update from 90.8 Hills FM.
- It mentioned that 90.8 Hills FM would work closely with the
forest division to broadcast informative programmes, public service
announcements and interactive segments that promote forest conservation and
environmental responsibility as part of the partnership. It would include
engaging contents such as radio jockey shout outs, awareness jingles and radio
interactions aimed at encouraging public participation in sustainable
practices.
- It further stated that the initiative reflected a joint
commitment to safeguard Nagaland’s rich biodiversity and natural heritage,
while also strengthening the connection between forest authorities and the
local community.
