Mokokchung, Nov. 15 (EMN): The recruitment rally for the post of constable in Nagaland Police in Mokokchung district saw more than 800 applicants sweating out at the Imkongmeren Sports Complex on Friday.
Additional SP, Mokokchung Imtimeren informed that in Mokokchung district, a total of 877 people, including 153 female aspirants had applied to fill 206 posts for the whole state. He added that physical and medical tests started from 6:00 am on Friday.
Physical test for applicants include height and chest measurement, weight, pull-up, high jump, long jump and running. The next stage of test for the candidates who passed both physical and medical tests is written examination and interview.
Imtimeren informed that more physical and medical tests will be held starting from 5:00 am onwards today, November 16 for the rest of the applicants. He added that DEF has a vacancy for 128 posts and 78 for NAP out of total 206 posts.
Along with monitoring from district administration and civil societies, CCTV, drones and LED stopwatch board were used for transparency during the recruitment process.
