- DIMAPUR — The 7th
Atoizu Area Kukami Hoho Tournament commenced on Tuesday with an inaugural
function at Shena Old village, attended by Picto Shohe, MLA and Chairman of
DPDB Zunheboto, as the special guest.
- According to an update, speaking on the occasion, Picto
encouraged the youth to remain persistent and put forth their best effort in
everything they do in order to achieve success at a higher level.
- Citing the example of Dr. T Ao, he urged current
sportspeople to emulate such individuals for a successful career. He also
advised young players to steer clear of any form of substance abuse and
addiction, as these would do nothing but ruin one's life.
- A total of around 20 teams from 12 villages are
participating in the tournament, which will culminate on January 18.
