Nagaland: 72-year-old man dies in road mishap

Kohima, Sep. 29 (EMN):
In an unfortunate incident, a 72-year-old man was killed in a head-on collision between a Maruti Alto and Mahindra Bolero on Thursday morning at Tsiesema 10th mile, along the Kohima- Wokha highway.

The Additional Superintendent of Police, Kohima, Vitoshe Sumi told Eastern Mirror that the deceased was driving the Alto, with his two sons in the passenger seats,  when it collided with the Bolero, driven by a 24-year-old man identified as Kahovi.

The two sons were also reported to be injured, while Kahovi has been nabbed and kept in police custody.

He further informed that the Kohima North Traffic is investigating the case, while the mortal remains of the deceased are being transported to Tuensang.
