Total withdrawals across the state is 140; 395 valid candidates left
Dimapur, Jan. 17: Uncertainty looms large over the state government’s schedule of elections to urban local bodies in Nagaland, even as 72 more candidates across the state withdrew their nomination papers on the final day, today. Today’s withdrawals, more than twice of the combined figure of the previous three days, has put the total withdrawals at 140. According to a DIPR report, there are 395 valid candidates left for elections to urban local bodies in Nagaland.
