6th Naga Sports Meet held in Dehradun

DIMAPUR — The Dehradun Eastern Nagaland Students' Union (DENSU) and the Naga Students' Union Dehradun (NSUDD) jointly hosted the 6th Naga Sports Meet from March 20 to 22 at Tula's Institute, Dehradun.
According to an update during the inaugural programme, a speech on courage, unity, and opportunities was delivered by the special guest, Major Pannyim Konyak of the 14th Dogra Regiment.
The event saw Naga students from all over Dehradun grouped into four teams (Mithun, Tragopan, Hornbill, and Falcon) competing in various games and sports, such as athletics, Naga wrestling, shot put, basketball, football, and volleyball.
After competing for points across various disciplines, including manners and etiquette, team Falcon (Madhuban and Selaqui colonies) emerged as the overall champion, once again taking home the trophy.
