6th Mr Eastern India Body Building C’ship 2015

Our Correspondent IMPHAL, JANUARY 6 Manipur clinched the overall champion title at the 6th Mr Eastern India Body Building Championship 2015 organised by All Manipur Gymnasium Welfare Association (AMGWA) under the aegis of Eastern India Body Building Association at the auditorium hall of Khuman Lampak Sports Complex, Imphal held on January 5. Assam emerged as the runners-up in the team event. The overall individual championship title was won by Satyajit Pratihari of Odisha, while Ng Surchandra of Manipur won the 2nd position in the individual overall event. Parliamentary Secreatry YAS and Tourism M Prithiviraj, Wangjing A/C MLA P Brojen, ADGP Manipur IPS P Dongel, Director YAS N Ashokumar Singh, PWD Chief Engineer M Lokendro Singh, Babina Diagnostic Centre Managing Director Dr Th Dabali Singh and MSRRDA Chief Engineer N Babuchand Singh also attended as guests of honours. The overall individual champion Satyajit Pratihari of Odisha was awarded a cash prize of Rs 50,000 and masters champion Balaphrang Kharshiing of Meghalaya was given a cash prize of Rs 10,000. The 1st, 2nd, 3rd and fourth place winners of each weight categories were awarded cash prize of Rs 5000, 3000, 2000 and 1000 each respectively.
