Dimapur, April 24 (EMN): Six more samples for suspected Covid-19 infections were sent from Nagaland on Friday, taking the tally so far to 613, according to an official update.
Home Commissioner Abhijit Sinha informed that 580 samples have tested negative and the remaining 33 await results.
As of Friday, 112 persons were under facility quarantine in Nagaland.
“In connection with the Covid-19 positive case of Dimapur (resident) detected in Guwahati, the surveillance activities in the containment zone in Dimapur have covered a total of 5,667 (persons), covering 1005 households as of today. Altogether, 733 primary and secondary contacts connected to the positive case have also been traced and tracked,” he informed.
