5th Inter-Departmental Sports Meet inaugurated in Tuensang

DIMAPUR — The inaugural function of the 5th Inter-Departmental Sports Meet Tuensang was held at the indoor Badminton Stadium on Tuesday.

According to a DIPR report, addressing the inaugural function, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa, deputy commissioner of Tuensang, lauded the organising committee for their efforts in organising such a tournament in the district.

She stated that it is a social gathering for all the departments in the district to get to know one another and to showcase their talents and promote physical fitness.

Longpoksang Lemtur, SP Tuensang, in his brief note encouraged the participants to carry forward the spirit of games and to foster understanding and co-ordination among the government employees in serving the people of the district.
