Dimapur, May 21 (EMN): The NSCN (IM) has informed that 56 (members from different Naga political organizations have decided to join the revolutionary mainstream where the future of the Nagas lies.
The Joint Council of NSCN/GPRN consisting of the Steering Committee executives, Cabinet Kilonsers, Deputy Kilonsers and Heads of Departments while welcoming them, appreciated the bold and mature decision taken by them while keeping in mind the positive changes taking place since the signing of the Framework Agreement on August 3, 2015 and the aspirations of the Nagas.
The home-comers also expressed their sincere commitment and unreserved confidence with the NSCN/GPRN leadership and vow to strive together to bring about a final solution.
Home-comers from the GPRN/NSCN (Unification) in his address, said that the vice-president of the NSCN/GPRN, general (retd.) Kholi Konyak, Ato Kilonser Th. Muivah, Kilo Kilonser Rh. Raising, Tatars, Heads of Departments, and other top ranking leaders believes that the NSCN/GPRN leaders are true leaders who can bring a lasting solution.
He also said members have realised that it was fruitless to have worked in the Unification group since there is no progress and the leaders lacked vision and political agenda, thereby rendering the group as a unorganiaed group, and felt that they were being misled by the Unification leaders.
The home-comers also appreciated the collective leadership of the NSCN/GPRN for welcoming them into the fold of the NSCN/GPRN.
The Kilo Kilonser of NSCN/GPRN Rh. Raising while welcoming the home comers on behalf of the collective leadership of the NSCN/GPRN, expressed his appreciation and exhorted the home comers and the gathered members to give their best for the cause of the Nagas. He advised them to give what they can for the nation without expecting anything in return.
