The five-day long 53rd Southern Angami Sports Association (SASA) Meet entered the second day with Phesama village bagging six gold medals to top the chart today.
Phesama has 8 gold and 3 silver medals in the athletic events, which continued for the second day today.
Kigwema village which was on top yesterday today went to second with a total of 19 medals, including 7 gold, 6 silver and 6 bronze while Kidima village which was in the sixth place yesterday today rose up to third position with 3 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze medals. Kezoma, Kezo Basa and Kezo Town are yet to open their account.AIGP (Ops) V. Z. Angami will kick off the football and volleyball for men and women as the patron on January 29 while local MLA Kropol Vitsu will also grace valedictory function as patron on January 31.
