5 AR recovers warlike stores

Dimapur, April 1 (EMN): 5 Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) has recovered a cache of arms, ammunitions and warlike stores from the forest of Asukhomi and Lizu Naghuto, on March 28. The recovery included one 5.56 mm HK-33 Rifle with magazine, one 7.62 mm AK-56 Rifle with magazine and 66 live ammunitions and other warlike stores suspected to be hidden by the members of the banned organisation NSCN (K). The seized arms and ammunition have been handed over to Zunheboto Police Station.
