4th Nagaland Drums Festival in Dimapur on Oct. 25; Nishant Hagjer to headline the festival

DIMAPUR — The 4rd Nagaland Drums Festival presented by Vivezza Music studio is scheduled to be held at Town Hall in Dimapur on Oct. 25.

An update issued on Thursday informed that the first part the festival will take place at the front yard of Town hall from 1 pm till 4 pm.

Lopeno Ovung Queah, director of Nagaland drums festival in the update has welcomes all drums and percussion enthusiast, and drummers of all skill level to come and groove, join the drum circle and to boost community drumming in Nagaland.

All activities regarding to drums in the first part are said to be free while the second part of the festival would commence with drums competition followed by a concert.

Artistes for the evening concert are, Nikivi Nathan and Chishi and Changkhanthaipou Kamei; Shubham Bhardwaj, founder of Ryet cymbals from Jamshedpur; Tenny Copper Kharshiing from Shillong and; Tanmoy Dutta, and Snare Affairs, a group of 4 drummers from Guwahati, Assam.

Registration fee will be applicable for the second part, the update further informed.
