The 4th Futsal Tournament 2015, organized by the Wolverine Club Mokokchung , was formally inaugurated by SP of Mokokchung, Aotemsu (NPS) at the Multipurpose Sports Complex here today. The Futsal tournament, which is a football game, played in a small arena between teams of five players, is gaining much popularity in the town.
The first match was played between Vulcan FC and defending champion Mighty Ducks. The trounament will conclude on August 20. Altogether, twelve teams are participating at the tournament. The winner will walk away with a cash prize of Rs 30,000 plus certificates.
