4-lane project: DC Chümoukedima issues 'vacate' notice

DIMAPUR — Deputy Commissioner of Chümoukedima Abhinav Shivam has, in a public notice issued on Tuesday, informed all the concerned landowners, governmental and non-governmental agencies whose lands and other properties/plantations have been acquired under Section 9(2) of the Nagaland Land Requisition and Acquisition Act 1965 for extension of 4-lane NH-29 Dimapur-Kohima to vacate or remove buildings, plantations, fisheries and any other standing structures on the compensated area within a period of 15 days from the date of issue of the notice.

This is to ensure smooth execution of the 4-lane work, the notice stated.

“This notice is issued for strict compliance by all concerned and to extend full cooperation to the executing team for the smooth implementation of the 4-lane NH-29 Dimapur-Kohima project,” it stated.
