DIMAPUR — In a surprise inspection carried out in Wokha Town, the Wokha Village Students' Union (WVSU), in collaboration with the Lotha Students’ Union (LSU), apprehended four individuals for violating provisions of the Inner Line Permit (ILP).
According to a press statement issued by the WVSU on Sunday, the inspection was part of a coordinated effort to ensure strict enforcement of ILP regulations.

The individuals found without valid permits were immediately handed over to the police for further investigation and legal action.
The unions stated that the operation was conducted in response to growing concerns over unauthorised entry into the district, particularly in light of recent developments along the Disputed Area Belt (DAB).
WVSU President Chipenthung N Kikon called on residents to remain vigilant and refrain from accommodating or engaging with individuals who lack proper ILP documentation.
He also appealed to the public to report suspected violators to the WVSU or LSU offices for prompt action.
