Muzivo-Mudozo, Moses-Mudozo, and Netsozu-Husazo secured titles at the Kohima Chakhesang Veteran Badminton Tournament.

KOHIMA — The 3rd edition of the Kohima Chakhesang Veteran Badminton Tournament was held on Saturday at the Multi-purpose Hall, NLA, Kohima.
Altogether, 53 participants took part in the one-day veteran badminton tournament, with Shievotso Nienu, aged 80, being the oldest participant.
According to an update, in the 85+ category, Muzivo Khamo and Mudozo Nyekha emerged champions, while Dr. Nutazo Lohe and Avosa Khamo finished as runners-up.
In the 95+ category, Moses Rose and Mudozo Nyekha clinched the title, while Wekhape Puro and Kewetso Mero were the runners-up.
In the 105+ category, Netsozu Tunyi and Husazo Puro emerged champions, while Weprepe Mero and Kekhrozulo Ritse finished as runners-up.
Earlier, the tournament was declared open by Dozhohu Tunyi, President of Chakhesang Hoho Kohima, who encouraged the participants to remain united and work for the common good.
