3rd Kewhimia badminton tournament held

Dimapur, Oct. 20 (EMN): The 3rd Kewhimia badminton tournament was held on Thursday, Oct. 19 at the Indoor Stadium, Kohima. The annual event was organised by the Kewhimia Badminton Club with 52 participants in three different categories, viz Men's double, junior mixed double and veteran men. In the Men's double event Azo Solo and Keneisezo Dzüvichü emerged as the champions beating the duo of Keviselhou Sekhose and Atsüu Miachieo. In the junior mixed doubles Menuosatuo Mepfhüo and Nguluonuo Miachie-o beat Kelhoukhrietuo Suokhrie and Khriepekreinuo Rutsa in the final. The prizes were later given away to the winners by Er. Kevizatuo Miachieo, State Information Comissioner and Er. Pelezotuo Miachieo EE (electrical) School Education.
