with Minister for Power and Parliamentary Affairs, KG Kenye, as the special
guest for the opening ceremony.

Phek Town Youth Society (PTYS).

one of the most interesting aspects of human life and that sports pushes the human
species to their limits, bringing out the best in men and women and testing the
extent of their endurance.
- He said sports provide a platform for the world to come
together to compete, bringing out the best in every sportsperson.
- "We have to be on our toes to defend what we have
achieved and also to challenge and set a better record for what has already
been achieved, whether by ourselves or others. It is very interesting, and
every year, at every level, we see marked improvements in the form of setting
new heights and new limits," the minister said.
- Kenye also maintained that Phek district is gifted with
immense sporting talent, as compared to other districts in the state.
- While emphasising that sports require not only practice but

- Meanwhile, the minister also commended the sportspersons,
including their parents, who won medals for the state at various levels.
- Earlier, PDSA president Nezosa Tetseo, in his address,
highlighted the activities and achievements of the association over the years.
