320 gram of heroin recovered in Karbi Anglong

Diphu, Oct. 5 (EMN): Karbi Anglong police intercepted a bus carrying 25 soap boxes containing 320 gram of heroin on Monday.

Acting on a tip off, a special check post was set up at Laharijan at around 7.30 am. One bus coming from Dimapur was intercepted at Laharijan in Karbi Anglong. After thoroughly searching the bus,  25 soap boxes containing 320 gram of heroin were recovered from the possession of Amar Khan(20), a resident of Thoubal Moijing village under Thoubal district of Manipur.  

Likewise at around 8 am on Sunday, a raid was conducted at Nizorapar area under Bokajan Police Station. During the operation, one soap case containing 12.53 gram of heroin was recovered. In this regard one Habibur Rahaman (35) was arrested.
