A host of celebrities from the Indian film industry and other dignitaries are set to captivate the 2nd Youth Fest 2016 – Tzurang valley which will formally kick off on Monday, December 19 at Chungtiayimsen.
The fest, which will be held on the theme, Peace, Progress & Prosperity, is being organized by the REM Group (a business conglomerate) as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) aims at promoting the talents and providing platform to the youths towards self-sustenance and dignity. This was stated in a press not issued by the REM Group.
Among the special guest are well known Bollywood celebrities like Mahima Chaudhry and Rajpal Yadav as special guests. The chairman of Abhirav Infra & Realtors Pvt Ltd, Gurav Sehgal is also among the special guests, while the Advisor Security to the Chief Minister & President National Association of Progressive Civil Servants, Sandeep M Tamgade IPS will grace the Fest as the Guest of Honour.
The press note further states that other well known celebrities like Bollywood singer Avishek Sinha and Keka Ghoshal; Bollywood film producer Rebecca Changkija, Bollywood director Shiraz Henry and the Adrika dance group are set to take part in the two day youth fest.
The first day of the fest will be kicked off with a ‘Half-marathon race’ at 7:00 AM, followed by indigenous games competition followed by a career counseling. A formal programme will be held at 2:00 PM which is said to be concluded with a Bollywood night. The second day is said to be witnessed with more competitions in different indigenous games like cock-fight, tug-of-war, earthen pot making, essay competition etc. The main attractions of the day two will be the beat contest ‘Clash of the Bands’ and the Bollywood night in the evening where the Bollywood stars will take to the stage and enthrall the audience. There will also be different stalls like food stalls for the visitors to relish the cuisines.
In this connection, the REM Group has extended invitation to all the public to come and enjoy the youth fest which is aimed at celebrating and promoting youth life towards a positive, self-sustaining and dignified Naga society.
