
Dimapur, Dec. 12 (EMN): MH-10 emerged as the champions of the 2nd All Nagaland Open Volleyball Tournament after defeating Kimipfüphe Southern Angami Youth Organisation.
The tournament was organised by the Horua Welfare Society (HWS) at Indisen Village Ground on Dec. 10 and 11 with Temsukaba Longkumer as the special guest of the valedictory function, an update informed.
The champions were awarded a cash prize of INR 1 lakh while the runner-up received INR 70,000. Volleyball for Peace Longsa and Elite Spikers Dimapur were the losing semi-finalists and received a cash prize of INR 20,000 each.
Menuokho Ngukha of Kimipfüphe Southern Angami Youth Organisation was the best spiker while Akum of MH-10 was the best setter and Imnungkumba of Changtongya Volleyball Association was declared the best player. All three received a cash prize of INR 5000 each.
Meanwhile, the result of the raffle draw, which was organised by HWS, was also announced. The winning ticket numbers are 1456, 2110, 3243 as the first, second and third respectively. Consolation prize winners are 7779, 5332, 3625, 3931, 3888, 2430, 0053, 4099, 0853 and 7382.
