The 28th sports meet of Zunheboto Area Sports Association (ZASA) which started on January 5, concluded on January 9 at Lizu New Village, Zunheboto. Altogether 11 villages participated in football, volleyball and 100 metre Race.
In football, Natha Old Village emerged as winner and walked away with Rs-50000 as cash prize and trophy while Lizu Aviqato emerged as runners up with Rs- 25000/- and a trophy.
In volleyball, Natha New Village bagged 1st prize with Rs-20000/- and a trophy, while Asukho village emerged as runners up with cash prize of Rs -10000/- and trophy.In 100 meter race (male) Lizu Naghuto and Natha New emerged as winner and runners up respectively, while in 100 meter race (female) winner and runners up was bagged by Natha New respectively.
Senior Treasure Officer (Sr TO), Zunheboto, Vukhuhe Swu, who graced the closing function as guest of honour, gave away the prizes.
