DIMAPUR — The 28th Inter-District and State Table Tennis Championship, supported by Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT), will be held from September 30 to October 3 at the Kohima Indoor Table Tennis Stadium.
The event is being organised by the Nagaland Table Tennis Association (NTTA), which has district associations across all districts of the state, stated a press release.
UTT, fronted by Vita Dani and Niraj Bajaj, is supporting the championship with the vision of securing an Olympic medal for India in table tennis by 2028 through the creation of a world-class league that inspires youth, engages fans through grassroots development, and delivers value to stakeholders.

KG Kenye, Minister for Power and Parliamentary Affairs, will be attending the opening ceremony as special guest. Table tennis stars, enthusiasts, and veterans (Masters) from 13 districts have confirmed participation in the tournament.
The tournament will be officiated by umpire Ksh. Mahendra Singh, Blue Batch International Referee from Imphal. Entry to the venue is free for all table tennis fans.
