- DIMAPUR — The
Konyak Students’ Union (KSU) will be organising its 24th KSU sports
meet-cum-77th federal assembly at Mon headquarters from March 11 to the 19th on
the theme ‘Reawakening the present; re-envisioning the future".
- Advisor for Social Welfare, Wangpang Konyak, will be the
chief guest for the inaugural ceremony, while Manpon C Konyak, MLA, will grace
the guest of honour for the valedictory programme, KSU stated in a press
release.
- The youth fest will witness the participation of 127
affiliated student bodies under 10 sub-ordinate units across Mon district.
Winners from various events will be selected to represent the district at
higher levels.
- The KSU invited all heads of departments (HoDs) under Mon
district to attend and witness the youth fest.
- The union also requested the concerned authorities to
provide adequate security measures during the entire festival, and the Power
department to ensure uninterrupted power supply throughout the event.
