Diphu, Aug. 31: The Autonomous State Demand Committee (ASDC), Karbi Students Association (KSA) and Karbi Nimso Chingthur Asong (KNCA) have jointly called for a 24-hour district wide Karbi Anglong bandh from 5 am September 4 to 5 am September 5.
The shutdown has been called to pressed the organisations’ demand to the central government to hold a tripartite talk on the creation of a hill state, the president of ASDC, Holiram Terang told a press conference here on Friday.
