Dimapur, Nov. 2: After the 12-hour Tinisukia bandh called by the All Assam Bengali Youth Students’ Federation (AABYSF) on Friday against the killing of five persons, a-24 hour Assam Bandh has been called by the organisation on Nov. 3 from 5 am, according to the Assamese news channel Praditin Time.
“The students’ body has sought the cooperation of the people to make the bandh a success. However the emergency services would not be halted during in bandh, said the organisation,” read a report in the channel’s website on Friday evening.
