Dimapur, May 30 (EMN): Citing failure to response to its non-cooperation movement in seeking action against the president and secretary of NPF Mon division, 22 NPF party workers have decided to resign from active and primary membership.
In a resignation letter to the NPF president, the signatories stated that they have decided join the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party NDPP under the leadership of its president, Chingwang Konyak, and the Chief Minister, Neiphiu Rio.
The signatories are CH Yanboh, senior vice president; Longshah, vice president; Menlei, vice president; Langphong, vice president; Yati, secretary; Yeangshong, secretary; Khongwang, president youth wing; Temlei, vice president youth wing; Wangting, secretary; Menching, president women wing; Tangam, vice president women wing; Yahoi, vice president women wing; Ngipsho, secretary women wing; Mennyei, president farmer’s wing; Nahlem, vice president farmer’s wing; Enyei, secretary farmer’s wing; Manje, secretary farmer’s wing; Chingkap, secretary farmer’s wing; Pheangmeth, advisor women wing; Nokho, vice president divisional; Hoka, advisor; and Wanlong, advisor.
The joint statement was issued by NPF Mon division senior vice president, CH Yanboh and president of youth wing, Khongwang.
