Nagaland Police launches first inter-school sports festival 2026 at Chümoukedima, promoting discipline, teamwork and excellence among students.

DIMAPUR — The first Nagaland Police Inter-School Sports Festival 2026 kicked off on Friday at the Chümoukedima Football Stadium, with Commandant, 1st NAP Battalion, Aaron Patton as the guest of honour.

In his inaugural address, Patton said the first inter-school sports festival of the Nagaland Police marks not only the beginning of a competition but also the start of a tradition that promotes discipline, teamwork and excellence among young students.
A total of 15 Nagaland Police schools are participating in the inaugural edition of the festival.
The participating schools include 2nd NAP Alichen, 3rd NAP Battalion High School, 4th NAP Regimental School, 5th NAP Holy Care, 6th NAP Tizit, 7th NAP Unit School, 8th NAP Unit School, 9th NAP MVS, 10th NAP (IR) PPS, DEF Mokokchung Police Unit School, DEF Mon Police Unit School, New Reserve Phesama Kohima, DEF Wokha, NPCS 1st NAP, and the Drivers and Helpers School.
