Dimapur, Sep. 3: The ongoing 1st International Dimapur Trade Expo at Supermarket is providing a wide range of products for use at home and other decorative items.
Among 40 stalls at the expo, two of them offer products from Pakistan and Thailand. Important items, which are put up for sale, include jewellery from Thailand and Korea, Saharanpur furniture from UP, kitchen wares from Delhi, tools from Delhi, pearl jewellery from Hyderabad, furniture from Delhi, magic steamer from Delhi, gym equipment from Mumbai, pickles from Kolkata, Ayurvedic medicines from Himachal Pradesh and UP, leather items from Delhi, copper utensils from UP, unique items and toys for children from Kolkata.
The trade fair, which began on Aug. 24 would culminate on Sep. 12, is organised by Vitho Society from Kohima.
President of Vitho Society, Kelhouzienguü Mechülho, told a section of visiting media persons that the expo is being organised to generate fund and support its school drop-out members for self employment.
With 17 members, the society plans to organise similar trade expo in Phek town tentatively from Sep. 28 to Oct. 15.
Meanwhile, the organisers informed that entry fee with gift coupon is being offered to visitors, adding the draw would be held on the last day of the expo.
It has offered LCD TV 32 to the first winner, refrigerator of 160 litres to the second winner, and washing machine to the third winner.
