MOKOKCHUNG — The 18th edition of the Imchaba Master Open Volleyball Tournament 2025 is set to begin from October 21 to the 24th at the Multi-Purpose Sports Complex, Mokokchung, featuring 14 teams from across Nagaland.

Teams from Kohima, Tuensang, Zunheboto and host Mokokchung will compete in the four-day event organised by the Mokokchung District Volleyball Association (MDVA).

Reigning champions MH-10 from Kohima will return to defend their title with a reshuffled squad. Coach S Tali Imchen said two new spikers had been inducted to strengthen the team’s attack and expressed confidence about retaining the trophy.

Changtongya Volleyball Association (CVA), runners-up in the previous edition, have also refreshed their lineup by combining senior players with new entrants. General Secretary Meyitiba said the team hoped the new combination would help improve on their earlier performance.
