Dimapur, March 28 (EMN): In keeping in line with the Clean India Campaign, the 173rd battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) constructed two toilets at two different locations namely at Jharnapani in Dimapur district and Peducha in Kohima district for members of the public who travel between Dimapur and Kohima.
Sarbjit Singh, DIGP (Op.) of the CRPF at Kohima inaugurated the toilets, in the presence of Joseph Keishing, commandant of the 173rd CRPF, and villagers and officers and men of the battalion.
A press release issued by Commandant Joseph Keishing stated that separate blocks for ladies have been made available at each complex. He stated that the toilet complex was constructed for the benefit of the public travelling on the national highway.
Both the toilet complexes are said to have been inaugurated on March 28 at Jharnapani and Peducha. He added that the local people of both places have lauded the efforts made by 173rd CRPF battalion.
