173 CRPF distributes solar lamps to villagers in Dimapur under its Civic Action Programme to foster community relations.

DIMAPUR — The 173 BN CRPF organised a civic action programme at F/Coy 173 Bn, Powergrid, Dimapur, on December 19.
According to an update, solar lamps were distributed to villagers of Naga United, Kuda-B, Full Nagarjan, Phaipijang and Mishikito village.
Speaking on the occasion, Dinesh Chandra Singh, second-in-command, 173 Bn CRPF, welcomed the beneficiaries and spoke about the importance of the civic action programme through which the security forces and local populace can come and work together for a progressive society.
A total of 16 families benefited on the occasion. The programme was attended by Heiyilung Nsarangbe, dy-comdt; Wr. Khongrymmai, DGM Powergrid; L Mhathung Patton, OC East PS; Inspector Shishupal Singh Jat, OC in charge of F/173; Saso Savino, sarpanch of Kuda-B; and D Kughaho Chophy, sarpanch of Mishikito village.
