DIMAPUR — The Men’s Open Volleyball Tournament organised by 173 Battalion CRPF under the SPANDAN initiative, in collaboration with the Sports Authority of India, Dimapur, progressed into the quarter-final stage on its second day at the TC CRPF ground near the DC Court in Dimapur on Thursday.
In the Round of 16 matches played on Thursday, Livingstone Foundation defeated Royal Club, Young Vision won against Doulos Team, Team 711 overcame Hornet Spikers, Yakuza defeated Dimapur Government College Team B, Apex Spikers defeated Basa Spikers, and Playing Spikers won against Vision Club.
In the quarter-final matches, Team 711 defeated Yakuza to secure a place in the semi-finals, while Friends Zone defeated Young Spikers to qualify for the final four.
The remaining quarter-final matches feature Livingstone Foundation taking on Young Vision and Apex Spikers facing Playing Spikers.
The semi-finals, third-place match, and grand final are scheduled to be played on September 11.
