The 173 Battalion CRPF organises a Civic Action Programme in Chümoukedima, distributing solar lamps and water tanks.

DIMAPUR — The A, E, and G companies of the 173 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organised a civic action programme at BCS, Chümoukedima, on Thursday.
During the programme, solar lamps and 500-litre water storage tanks were distributed to poor and needy villagers of Chümoukedima village, according to an update.

Dinesh Chandra Singh, second-in-command of the 173 Battalion CRPF, welcomed the beneficiaries and spoke on the importance of the civic action programme. He stated that such initiatives allow security forces and the local population to work together for a progressive society.
A total of 24 families, a nearby orphanage home, and a government primary school benefited from the distribution. The programme was attended by Imtitoshi Jamir, assistant commandant, alongside village council members and GBs.
