Orion FC, Tiema-Khe, Freeman and Tsosinyu United win

Orion Football Club, Tiema-Khe Kidima, Freeman FC Chozuba and Tsosinyu United FC won their respective matches to move into the second round of the 15th edition of NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy played under the theme ‘Goal for Peace’ here in the Local ground. Playing a closely contested match, Orion FC Kohima defeated 4th NAP Thizama by 4-3 via tie-break after both teams were locked in goalless draw during the stipulated 70 minutes play.
However, the second match of the day was totally lopsided with Tiema-Khe Kidima humiliating Strivers FC by six goals to nil.
Mhasil Thol opened the flood gates within the first four minutes with the first goal while also contributing second in the dying minutes of the first half. After the lemon break, he added his third to become the third hat-trick scorer of the tournament. Lesazol Kotso scored his first and fourth for the team in 50th minute while Vizayieto Thokhwe scored the fifth goal in 59th minute. It was Mhasil sealing score board with his fourth and sixth for the team in 66th minute.
Freeman FC Chozuba defeated Asian Mission College by 2-0 in the third match. Kuzoto Nyekha scored first in 17th minute while Berelhu Shijoh doubled the margin in 37th minute of second half.
The fourth match was also closely contested, wherein Tsosinyu United FC won against Oriental College Kohima 4-3 via tie-breaker after both teams were locked in 0-0 draw in the 70 minutes stipulated time.
