Altogether, 14 contestants will vie for the prestigious title Miss Phek 2017, scheduled for Nov. 18 at Phek Town Hall from 5 pm onwards. This was stated in a press note issued by the organisers.
The pageant is said to take place under the aegis of Vogue Entertainment in association with Mega Entertainment, Guwahati.
The release mentions that the winners will get direct entry for Sunsilk Mega Miss Northeast India and a contract modelling with Vogue and Mega Entertainment.
Democratic Alliance of Nagaland (DAN) chairman and NPF Legislature Party leader Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu is said to grace the show as the chief guest.
As per the release, the judges includes Imlibenla Wati, Miss Super Talent India (Miss Asia Pacific) 2016; Kanhaiya Mehta, managing director, Mega Entertainment Guwahati; Mary Khyriem, Mega Miss North East 2017; Suman Ningthoujam, Mega Mister North East 2017 and Vilhousa Movi, best designer North East India Ethnic Fashion 2014 and official designer of Vogue Entertainment.
The choreographer of the show is said to be Abhijeet Singha, proprietor and fashionpreneur Mega Entertainment, Guwahati.
The official designers will be Dipika Devi, official designer Mega Miss North East Organization, Dosoulou J Vemai, best designer award 2017 Nagaland Fashion Week and Ako LKR, fashion designer.
Soman Chetri will come as a special appearance.
Further the note mentions that the show will be produced and managed by Dode Nakro with Diwe-u Thele as event co-ordinator, Vogue Entertainment and Vevotsolu Nakro and Florence Quinker as make-up artists.
Apart from coveted title of Miss Phek 2017, 1st runner-up and 2nd runners-up, there will also be 5 subtitles- Miss Perfect 10, Miss Congeniality, Miss Best Ramp Walk, Miss Photogenic and Best Ethnic Wear.
