DIMAPUR — The executive engineer of Mokokchung Transmission Division has informed that the 132kV Zunheboto-Mokokchung transmission line shall be test charged at the rated voltage with effect from July 22 and kept idle- charged.
The transmission line passes through Ungma village in Mokokchung district and 14 other villages in Zunheboto district including Sumi Settsu, Zaphumi, Lumami, Alaphumi, Lumithsami, Akuluto, Lokobomi, Awotsakilimi, Vikhomi, Askhuto town, Yeshlotomi, Imlomi, Litsami and Lizu New, the EE stated in a press release.

“In this regard, all the public are informed not to touch the said transmission line nor go near the same for safety purposes. Anybody doing so shall be doing at their own risk and the department shall not be held responsible for any untoward incident whatsoever.
“All the public are therefore requested to extend cooperation in order to allow smooth conduct of the above stated exercise,” the release added.
