Dimapur, April 28 (EMN): Nagaland recorded 124 new Covid-19 cases on Wednesday, pushing the state’s active caseload to 952 and tally to 13569.
The minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, updated that 107 fresh Covid-19 cases were detected in Dimapur, 11 in Kohima, three in Mokokchung, two in Mon and one in Tuensang in the last 24 hours.
He added that 32 patients – 29 in Kohima and three in Longleng – have recovered.
According to the Health department, the state also recorded one fatality in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 90 and the number of recoveries to 12183.
Out of the active cases in the state, 870 are asymptomatic, 49 mild, 23 moderate on oxygen, seven severe on oxygen and three critical-ICU on ventilator. In terms of district-wise distribution of active cases, Dimapur has 766, Kohima 132, Mokokchung - 22, Tuensang – 10, Phek – 8, Mon - 6, Longleng – 5, Peren - 2, and Kiphire – 1.
