DIMAPUR — In a swift u-turn, the 12 tribes under the Nagaland Foot Hills Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) have withdrawn their 4-day ultimatum to Nagaland government.
“The 4-day ultimatum served to the state government of Nagaland related to the issuance of work order to the contractors on 2-lane Foothills Road construction does hereby stand withdrawn with immediate effect as the NPWD, Road & Bridges had already complied to our plea,” stated a press release issued on Friday by NFHRCC.
Previously, the 12 constituent tribes of NFHRCC had threatened to withdraw their participation at the Hornbill Festival.
