Dimapur, Feb. 8 (EMN): NRSA defeated Tsumang Football Club by 2-1 to enter the semifinal round of the ongoing 11th Lotha Football Championship in Wokha.
Mhonthung scored in the 16th minute giving Tsumang FC a lead, but Meribemo found the equaliser for NRSA in the 43rd minute, and later in the 58th minute, Kenumdi scored the winning goal for NRSA making them the third team to enter the semi finals.
In the fourth quarter final match, A1 Tsungiki outplayed Titans XI scoring 7-2. Senlo Kent and Nyithong scored two goals each while Yiben, Kekhrie Angami and Hatsabemo scored a goal each for A1 Tsungiki.
Meanwhile, OC Police Station Wokha, Chenithung Kikon attended the 3rd quarter finals as the match patron, an update stated.
The first semi final match will be played between Friends Club Wokha Village and NRSA, while the second semifinals will be played between Longsa Sports Association and A1 Tsungiki.
