11 new Covid-19 cases reported in Nagaland; tally rises to 12376

Dimapur, April 7 (EMN):
Nagaland’s active Covid-19 caseload has increased to 142 as 11 new cases were detected in the last 24 hours.

The minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom, informed through an update on Wednesday that six positive Covid cases were detected in Kohima and five in Dimapur, taking the state’s tally to 12376.

The state currently has 142 active Covid cases, out of which 138 are symptomatic and four mild. It has also recorded 11984 recoveries and 81 deaths so far.

In regard to district-wise distribution of active Covid-19 cases, Kohima has 127 cases, 13 in Dimapur and two in Tuensang, while the remaining districts are Covid-free.
