A night super bus on the Dimapur–Longleng route was gutted in a late-night fire at Dimapur Super Market area; investigation underway.

DIMAPUR — A night super bus operating on the Dimapur–Longleng route was completely gutted in a fire at the Super Market (Naga Shopping Arcade) area in Dimapur late Sunday night.
Personnel from the Central Fire Station informed that they received a distress call at around 10.27 pm and immediately dispatched two fire tenders along with fire personnel to the site.
The cause of the fire and the extent of damage are yet to be ascertained. The private bus had reportedly been parked at the location prior to the incident.
Dimapur Police sources said that an FIR has been lodged by the bus owner and investigation is underway. No arrests had been made at the time of filing this report.
